Community Guidelines

What is and isn't allowed on Cap House Media

Cap House Media is built for creators. These guidelines apply everywhere on the platform — posts, comments, profiles, photos and videos, music, articles, marketplace listings, Houses and community rooms, live audio and video, and direct messages. Breaking them can lead to content removal, loss of features, or account suspension.

Harassment, threats and abuse

Do not target people with bullying, stalking, sexual harassment, doxxing, or coordinated pile-ons. Do not threaten violence against any person or group, and do not encourage others to do so.

Hate and extremism

No content that attacks, dehumanises, or promotes violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. No promotion of terrorist or violent extremist organisations.

Sexual and explicit content

Cap House Media is not an adult platform. Pornography, sexually explicit imagery or video, and content whose primary purpose is sexual gratification are not allowed. Fashion, modelling, music, and editorial photography are welcome, but nudity intended as explicit content is not. Sexual content involving minors is never permitted under any circumstances and is reported to the appropriate authorities.

Exploitation and minors

No child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexualisation of minors, human trafficking, or any other exploitation of vulnerable people. Accounts involved in this are removed permanently.

Graphic violence and harmful content

No gratuitous gore, real-world violence shared for shock value, or animal cruelty. No content promoting self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges.

Illegal activity, drugs and weapons

Do not use Cap House Media to sell or facilitate illegal drugs, regulated weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen data, or any other unlawful goods or services. Marketplace listings must comply with applicable law.

Spam, scams and deception

No bulk or repetitive posting, engagement farming, fake giveaways, phishing, malware, financial scams, or misleading claims designed to trick people out of money or data.

Impersonation and authenticity

Do not impersonate another person, artist, brand, or Cap House Media staff. Parody and fan accounts must be clearly labelled.

Copyright and intellectual property

Only upload music, video, images, and writing you own or have permission to use. Rights holders can submit a takedown request through our Copyright / DMCA process. Repeat infringers lose upload access.

Reporting and enforcement

Every public post, comment, profile, listing, and media item has a report action. Reports are reviewed by the Cap House Media moderation team, which can remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts. Serious violations may be actioned immediately and without warning. If you believe a decision was wrong, email support@caphousemedia.com.
